Correction check·January 23, 2026

On January 23, 2026 Licensing Program Analysts Naves and Tse conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) visit to the facility mentioned above. The purpose of the inspection was explained, and the Licensee granted LPAs entry to the home. During the visit, the Licensee supervised one infant. At approximately 10:07am, LPAs observed 2 preschool aged children being dropped off. During the annual inspection on January 5, 2026, deficiencies were issued regarding incomplete children's files, a facility roster, 15 minute sleep checks, and locks on cabinets containing cleaning agents. During today's inspection, LPAs observed a gate preventing access to the kitchen where cleaning agents were stored. Licensee stated building maintenance will be coming on Monday January 26,2026 to install childproof locks. Licensee also stated that parents have a deadline of Monday, January 26, 2026 to submit paperwork. Licensee was provided with a sleep log chart to begin monitoring sleep checks. Licensee provided a facility roster and was advised that it must contain the same information located on form LIC9040. LPAs reminded licensee of the importance of communicating with Department regarding any delays in corrections required. Licensee stated that she understood. The deficiency cited for cleaning agents being accessible to children in care has been cleared. Licensee stated that all remaining corrections would be submitted by January 26, 2026. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Heather Majoulet.
