On 07/17/2025 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Miguel Herrera and Meche Rosales conducted a Case Management inspection that was initiated by licensee. LPA met with Director, Tania Gavina. LPA conducted a tour of the facility inside and outside. The purpose for the inspection was to inspect the newly added outdoor playground. The outdoor play yard size was not modified. The Department was notified on 07/11/2025 that the playground was ready for an inspection. The outdoor activity space has mature trees and a shade canopy that provide ample shade for children. The newly installed play structure will be utilized by children ages ranging 2 to 5 years old. The newly installed play structure is located in zone 3 of the out door activity space. Water is available indoors and outdoors. Director Gavina stated that the facility provides children water from a water dispenser that is provided by an outside private company. The new play structure has a manufacturer label that states the equipment is designed for children ages 2 to 5 years old which is appropriate for the preschool children. LPAs observed adequate cushioning in the form of a rubber surface underneath the play structure and landing of the slides to absorb falls.
