What the inspector wrote

On 8/26/22 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Joseph Pacheco and Priscilla Zamudio arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced Case Management inspection. LPAs met with Director, Manisha Khosla. LPAs toured the facility and a census was taken. The purpose of today's inspection was regarding an unusual incident that was reported to the Fresno Childcare Regional Office on 7/28/22. On 7/26/22 Child #1 made an allegation that Staff #1 pulled their hair. During today’s inspection LPAs conducted a file review of Staff #1, Staff #2, Staff #3 and Staff #4 who were present at the time of the incident. Child #1's file was also reviewed. LPAs interviewed Staff #2 and Staff #3. Staff #1, Staff #4 and Child #1 were not present during today’s inspection. Children in the classroom that Child #1 attended at the time of the incident were unavailable to be interviewed. Director reported the allegations to CPS and they have not pursued the matter. Child #1 continues to attend the facility but has been moved to a different classroom and the parents have not reported any further issues. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Manisha Khosla. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
