Facility-requested visit·October 6, 2025

On 10/06/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ka Vang arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced case management inspection and met with Preschool Director, Lori Dusin. LPA toured the facility inside and outside. Licensee stated that Classroom Portable #3 will continue to be accessible to the preschool program. Licensee confirmed that Classroom #8 is no longer accessible to daycare children. Facility is requesting to r emoved Classroom #8 from license capacity; therefore, Classroom #8 square footage area will be taken away from the useable square footage for children. Per record review, Classroom #8 has a total of 1,239 square footage. LPA measured the Classroom Portable #3, and it is an approximate 899.25 square footage; therefore, there is a decrease in square footage which the facility will have to decrease their capacity down from the 48 children they\342\200\231re currently licensed for it. Classroom Portable #3 measurements taken and reviewed with Lori. The total Preschool area, minus the proposed of removed Classroom #8 measured to an approximate 899.25 square which Classroom Portable #3 will accommodate 25 preschool children. There is adequate storage space available for children's belongings. Toys and equipment are age appropriate. There is a drinking fountain located in the classroom which children can freely access. There is one bathroom with two toilets and two sinks for handwashing, which accommodate 25 children. Outdoor measurements were not taken on this date, as space available is more than adequate to accommodate the requested capacity of 25. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiency is being cited during today\342\200\231s inspection. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Preschool Director, Lori Dusin. Copy of the Appeal Rights were provided. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.
