What the inspector wrote

On 02/21/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ka Vang and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Cynthia Brannon conducted an unannounced Case Management - Other inspection and met with Site Supervisor Andrea Ceja Martinez. The purpose of today\342\200\231s inspection was to follow up on previous information obtained through record review. LPA and LPM toured the facility, and a census was taken. During the inspection tour of the facility, LPA and LPM observed a summer large red canopy umbrella located next to the fence on the infant playground. Based on observation, the canopy umbrella was torn down with the fabric hanging and the arms of the umbrella was sticking out. Per Site Supervisor, the umbrella was used for the infant playground. LPM observed that the umbrella was zip tied to the chain-link fencing, on the infant playground. Site Supervisor stated she will immediately remove the torn umbrella. Due to weather, the infants have not been outside on the playground. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiency has been cited during today\342\200\231s inspection. Site Supervisor Andrea Ceja Martinez was provided a copy of appeal rights. A notice of site visit (LIC 9213) was given and must remain posted for 30 days. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Site Supervisor Andrea Ceja Martinez.
