What Happened
A prelicensing tele-visit verified applicant credentials, staff-screening status, and key health-and-safety conditions while reviewing licensing requirements under COVID-related tele-visit procedures. Observations
- Applicant had current Preventative Health and Safety Training, CPR/First Aid certificates, and Mandated Reporter Training on file.
- Criminal and child abuse index clearances were reviewed in LIS and found on record for required adults.
- The home tour found a fully charged 3A40BC extinguisher, working smoke and CO detectors, fenced outdoor area, no bodies of water, and defined off-limit interior and exterior zones.
- Applicant was reminded of supervision, discipline limits, reporting requirements, and that no-smoking and child-unsafe devices are prohibited.
