Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Anna Morales and Joe Macias attempted to conduct a Prelicensing Inspection. The LPAs were greeted and granted entrance by the Applicants Laura Hair and Evelyn Weimer. The Applicants requested a prelicensing inspection today, however the LPAs were unable to measure the facility today. The facility is still conducting renovations. LPA Macias explained that the center must be set up for children to use today. Upon inspecting the facility the LPAs observed that classroom #1 is currently having the floor renovated, classroom #2 is not set up/ tools and materials present, classroom #5 the Sheetrock is being completed, and the entire second floor has not been set up. LPA Macias advised that all renovations must be completed for the purpose of accurate measurements. The LPAs requested the Applicant's resubmit the LIC 200A, as well as an updated facility sketch identifying the infant and preschool classrooms/ spaces. The Applicants explained that they may change the requested capacity for both the infant and preschool licenses. The Applicants will contact the Regional Office once all renovations are completed. No deficiencies cited, exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Applicants Laura Hair and Evelyn Weimer .
