What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Martha Jimenez-Villanueva , met with licensee Marisol Juarez Ayala for a case management visit to increase of capacity and explained the reason of this inspection. Licensee was present alone with 2 children in care: 2 toddlers. Licensee stated only herself as adult and four children living at home: twins (11 year old) and two children (ages 6 and 17 year old). Later during the inspection her children, four children, arrived at home. Fire clearance was granted on March 17, 2025, by Greenfield Fire Department with no special conditions. LPA reviewed the requirements stated on the fire clearance (maps) with licensee Marisol Juarez Ayala including that dining room, kitchen, in the first floor, the entire second floor and stairs; outside: front yard, garage, right-side yard and the middle back yard are NOT approved for use. LPA conducted tour of inside and outside of the home. LPA observed a fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher was service on 03/13/2025, functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detector. Fire pull station is installed in the entry way near the fire extinguisher. LPA observed a fire drill was conducted on February 2, 2025. Licensee have current CPR and first aid certification that expires on 02/01/2027. Mandated Reporter training i was taken on 02/23/2025. LPA observed no fireplace, no bodies of water and barricaded stairs. Licensee stated there are no weapons/ammunition. LPA observed pets at home: 2 dogs in a cage in the off limits backyard and a rabbit in the master bedroom, licensee stated are vaccinated. LPA reviewed with licensee their ratio/capacity for a large FCCH as well as assistant requirement. No deficiencies were cited during today's visit. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Marisol Juarez Ayala in Spanish. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100; and advised her that a large Family Child Care Home license will be approved upon completion of the following: Licensing Program Manager (LPM) review and approval.
