What the inspector wrote

*******************This inspection was conducted in Spanish*************** On 04/23/2026, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Pedro Gutierrez and Yareli Ramirez and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Mireya Flores met with licensee Dioselina Pompa for an unannounced case management inspection. LPA explained the reason for the visit. Present were licensee and one daycare child – school age. A review of staff records on 04/20/2026 indicates that all Facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. Licensee Dioselina Pompa was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to initial presence in a Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if the regulation is violated. LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas during today's visit. LPA Ramirez obtained a copy of the form LIC9040 children's roster, dated 07/25/2025. LPAs confirmed and obtained names of adults residing in the home (LIC811). LPAs and LPM conducted an in-person interview with licensee. LPAs and LPM conducted an interview with licensee’s son (S1) via phone. During inspection, LPAs obtained form LIC855(SP) declaration from licensee regarding plan for S1 residing in the home. During inspection, A blank copy of form LIC279 was provided to the licensee. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Dioselina Pompa. Appeal rights was handed to the licensee. There were no deficiencies cited during the visit . A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
