What Happened
The annual inspection found the home generally set up for child care, with current roster and drill log reviewed, but multiple compliance problems were identified. Staff clearance issues and missing mandated reporter training led to two Type B deficiencies and a civil penalty discussion.
Observations
- not all staff or other individuals requiring caregiver background checks had criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions
- the licensee, spouse, and helper did not have current mandated reporter training on file
- two Type B deficiencies were cited
- the licensee had proof of required immunizations on file
