What the inspector wrote

A case management inspection was conducted to the facility by Licensing Program (LPA) Kevin O'Connell in response to an increase of capacity. An application and facility sketch were received on 02/09/2022. The licensee is requesting a capacity of 14. A review of staff records indicates that all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. The facility is toured inside and outside. The facility\342\200\231s operating hours are 7:30AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday. The children will use the backyard for outdoor play and it is fully fenced. There were no pools, spas, fountains or water features observed. The Licensee states that there are no guns or dangerous weapons at the home and none were observed. There are multiple working carbon monoxide/ smoke detectors and a charged fire extinguisher of at least 2A:10 B-C in the home. Fire Marshal clearance was approved on 3/2/22. Pediatric CPR and Pediatric First Aid cards expire 10/12/2023. All licensing reports are public information and must be made available upon request for at least three years. There were no violations of Title 22 Regulations cited during today's visit. The increase in capacity to 14 as a Large family Child Care Home is granted as of today, 3/9/2022. Notice of Site Visit is to be posted for 30 days from today.
