Licensing Program Analyst Glenn Ouye met with licensee Julieta Whiteside to conduct a case management inspection to reopen the center. The interior of the facility is set up with furniture and toys for the children.. The smoke detector and carbon monoxide detectors were tested and functional. The fire extinguisher is charged and installed near the main entrance. The outdoor area is partially completed. The licensee will seek a waiver to use the outdoor field which is fully fenced in rotation with the school age children, so the preschool children will not commingle with the school age children. The field is fully fenced. The school's fire clearance has not been issued. The preschool's fire clearance has been sent to Cal Fire/Napa County Fire Inspector. Upon approval of the fire clearance the facility will be approved to reopen.
