Facility-requested visit·August 17, 2023

On 8/17/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Matthew Gallo met with Licensee Sharon Dykes for the purpose of a random case management visit to inspect a recently installed above-ground pool. Upon arrival, LPA observed 9 children, composed of 4 infants and 5 preschool children, supervised by licensee and assistant. LPA inspected the pool area and observed the new construction to meet all standards required by licensing. The pool is an above-ground structure surrounded by a six foot fence that allows clear view of the pool and features two lockable gates that self-close and swing outward. Licensee understands that gates must be locked at all times when the pool is not in use. No deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Sharon Dykes. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
