Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above.While touring the inside activity space at 9:13 AM, LPA observed an unlocked cabinet in the children's restroom inside classroom #7 with seven children present. Inside the unlocked cabinet, LPA observed Lysol All Purpose Cleaner that reads "Keep Out of Reach of Children." The facility is being assessed a civil penal for the amount of $250.00 for a repeat violation cited on 1/12/2024. which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

LPA observed an unlocked shed. Inside the shed, LPA observed Windex and Lysol All Purpose Cleaner that reads "Keep Out of Reach of Children" which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

The licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, and safety risk to persons in care.

101223 Personal Rights (a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs.This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on LPAs observations on 01/13/22 and 02/08/22 and interviews conducted facility only required children ages 3 and up to wear masks while indoors, current mandate by the CA Dept. of Public Health is for all individuals age 2 and up to wear a mask indoors. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.
