Correction check·January 6, 2026

On 1/6/2026 at 9:15am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sarah Garcia conducted a plan of correction visit to clear the following deficiencies from the 11/20/2025 visit. LPA informed licensee for the purpose of the visit. LPA conducted a walk through of the facility and conducted a census. Total census was 4 children and 1 staff. A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date indicates all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. LPA inspected the pool alarm and body hook and observed them to be noncompliant with the regulations. The pool alarm does not meet ASTM International Standard F2208 and the body hook does not have a fixed length of 12 feet. LPA discussed pool safety regulations and provided examples of complaint safety features to licensee. The following plan of corrections are due by 1/13/2026: the body hook with a fixed length of 12 feet and the pool alarm that meets the ASTM International Standard F2208. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Blanca Galindo. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to post will result in Civil Penalties of $100.00.
