Incident investigation·March 10, 2026

On 03/10/26, at 8:45am, a case management incident inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anna Chan who met with Director Aida King. Director was informed of the purpose of visit. Upon arrival there were 115 preschool children and 17 staff. Director stated that currently there are 174 children enrolled. A self-reported incident by the facility was received at the regional office on 03/04/26, that on 3/3/26, a child stuck a bead on their nose that needed medical attention. LPA interviewed 2 staff, the director and Child 1 (C1). Director stated they made sure beads and other small items in their Montessori Jobs are taken out of the classrooms and staff was reminded to ensure supervision and safety for children at all times. No deficiencies cited during this visit. If any deficiencies are observed, disclosed or discovered, they will be addressed and cited at a later date. Exit interview was conducted with Director Aida King. Report was reviewed and discussed. Notice of Site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days. Appeal Rights were provided.
