On 5/07/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) D. Valdez Santana arrived at the facility to conduct a case management inspection for the purpose of observing a temporary outdoor activity space when the current outdoor activity space is under construction from March 31, 2025, to June 1, 2025. Upon arrival, LPA met with Lead Teacher, Jennifer Ramos and was led on a tour the facility. There were 23 children and 3 staff members present. The hours of operation are 7:30AM- 4:00PM in morning and afternoon sessions, from Monday through Friday. The facility serves 24 preschool children ages 2-5 years old. The facility is utilizing an approved temporary outdoor activity space \342\200\234Stage Area\342\200\235 that is approximately 49 feet for Classroom C102, from March 31, 2025, to June 1, 2025. The \342\200\234Stage Area\342\200\235 does not have any climbing equipment or structures. Staff brought out age-appropriate toys for outdoor use. The surface of the outdoor activity space was observed to be free of hazards. Shaded rest areas are provided by large canopies. LPA observed proper supervision and placement of staff during outdoor activities to ensure the safety of children at all times. Facility utilizes boys\342\200\231 and girls\342\200\231 restrooms located in classroom C102. Children are escorted and supervised to and from the restrooms by facility staff. Water for children is provided via their own water bottles, that are refilled as needed. LPAs previously measured the outdoor activity space which is sufficient to accommodate the current capacity of 24 preschool children. LPA restated to representative that, upon completion of construction/refresh of the current outdoor activity space, they must obtain approval from the licensing Department prior to children\342\200\231s use.
