What the inspector wrote

On 06/27/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anna Chan conducted a Plan of Correction (POC) inspection in response to 1 Type A violation issued on 05/22/25, Health and Safety Code 1596.814(a)(1)(A)(iii) and 1 Type B Violation issued on 05/22/25, Health and Safety Code 1596.814(a)(1)(B). LPA met with Licensee Maryam Fahid. There were no children present during the visit. The areas cited were re-inspected; The pool fence was replaced by a mesh fencing that is ASTM-F-2286 approved. There is a maximum vertical clearance of two inches from the ground to the bottom of the enclosure. LPA observed the fence is strong enough to hold the weight of an adult in the home. LPA observed and measured a life ring with a minimum exterior diameter of 17 inches and labeled as approved by the United States Coast Guard. LPA observed and measured a rescue pole with a body hook and a minimum fixed length of 12 feet. Licensee provided LPA a daily inspection of the drowning prevention safety features and safety equipment before opening the facility. LPA observed and tested pool alarm that meet and be independently certified to the ASTM Standard F2208 \342\200\234Standard Safety Specification for Residential Pool Alarms\342\200\235. The areas re-inspected were found to be corrected. No further action needed at this time. POC letters given, and correction has been cleared at this time. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee Maryam Fahid. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. End of Report
