What the inspector wrote

(page two) Regarding allegation (1) Staff are not meeting day care children diapering needs. On the date of 3/06/2026 LPA interviewed staff members and reviewed documentation provided by the facility. When asked if children had a rash or redness due to not being changed properly five (5) out of five (5) stated that they have not observed this happen. During interviews Staff five (S5) stated that diapers and wipes are supplied in the staff break room. LPA was able to view diapers and wet wipes supplied in the break room area. Staff five (S5) stated that all staff members use a three-step changing procedure that is posted in classrooms. LPA received and reviewed three steps changing procedure and policy for diaper changing that is enforced for all staff members when changing diapers. The Orange County Regional Child Care Licensing Office investigated the complaints alleging (1) Staff are not meeting day care children diapering needs. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, based on interviews and record reviews conducted, there was not a preponderance to prove that the allegations did or did not occur, therefore, the allegations are found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. No deficiencies cited. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Chantel Hamrick . (end of report)
