What the inspector wrote

On 11/5/25 at 11am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Anna Chan conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for a decrease in capacity. Upon arrival, LPA met with Assistant Director Gelizly Vargas. Facility is requesting to be licensed from 106 to 82 preschool capacity and to utilize Room # 5, #6, #7, #8 and remove Room #9 from their license. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:30am to 6:30pm. There were 42 children and 4 staff present during today\342\200\231s inspection. All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPA informed Gelizly Vargas that staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities. LPA continued to tour of the facility and used previously measured indoor and outdoor activity space dated 12/07/2022. Total indoor activity space measured was 3201 sqft, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 82 Children. LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, bookshelves, napping equipment and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water is available in the classrooms via Brita water pitcher . LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. Fire clearance was granted on 10/03/2025. LPA observed a total of 8 sinks and 8 toilets and 3 changing tables with sink available for children\342\200\231s use. These are sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 82 children. Page 1 of 2 The facility currently has a fully fenced playground area. Chain link fencing is at least four feet high. The total square footage for all the outdoor activity space was 6336 sqft, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. Shade is provided via Sunport shade, a tent looking shade that is anchored on the ground. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playground. There is a climbing structure on the playground for children which is properly anchored. LPA will be provided with play structure age sticker. There is adequate cushioning in fall zones of climber provided by rubberized cushioning. Drinking water is available via Brita water pitcher. LPA did not observe any hazardous items on the playground. Assistant Director was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing. LPA verified Lead Testing was conducted on 03/09/2023 without Lead Exceedance. Assistant Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.\342\200\235 This facility provides Incidental Medical Services \342\200\223 IMS.
