What the inspector wrote

The Orange County Regional Child Care Licensing Office has investigated the complaint alleging lack of supervision resulted in child wandering away unattended. Based on information gathered from LPA\342\200\231s interviews and record review, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the allegation is substantiated. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 & Chapter 1, Section 101229 Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision; see LIC 9099D for Type A deficiency. LPA Jung informed Director, Julie Everest, that this report dated 9/6/2024 documents 1 Type A citation. Type A citations shall be posted for 30 consecutive days as there is an immediate risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care. Also, LPA informed the Director, Julie Everest, to provide a copy of this licensing report dated 9/6/2024 that documents any Type A citation to parents/guardians of all children currently enrolled by the next business day or the next day the children are in care, and to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of this report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification. In addition, the licensee shall immediately post upon receipt the Proof of Correction for 30 consecutive days. Failure to post Type A reports for 30 days will result in a Civil Penalty of $100.00. Due to technical difficulties, LPA emailed the report to the director. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Julie Everest.
