Facility-requested visit·December 2, 2025

On 12/02/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dianna Valdez Santana conducted a case management inspection of this facility for the purpose of adding Juan I. Araya as co-licensee on the license. LPA met with licensee, Maria Michea who was explained the purpose of the visit. LPA toured the facility and took census and the total census observed was 7 (4 infants and 3 preschool-age children) with 3 staff. On 10/07/2025 the licensee, Maria Michea sent paperwork for her son, Juan Araya to be added on the license as co-licensee. LPA toured the home with Juan Araya. He showed LPA that bedroom 1 out of 4 bedrooms is where he and his spouse live. The facility is their family home. LPA obtained a copy of children's roster. A review of staff records on this date indicated all facility staff or other individuals who required caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. On today's inspection, LPA discussed the Regulations with Juan Araya. He understands Title 22 Regulations of family childcare home. Juan Araya provided a copy of the original driver's license that indicates the facility address is his current residing address. An updated license to indicate Juan Araya is the co-licensee with Maria Michea will be issued after final discussing and review in the office. The Notice of Site Visit was posted. Facility representative was informed that the Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to post will result in civil penalties of $100. The Licensee, Maria Michea was provided a copy of their appeal right (LIC 9058 01/2016) and their signature on this form acknowledges receipt of these rights.
