What the inspector wrote

LPA Araceli Bootorabi and LPM Patricia Magana met with the licensee to discuss the following citations and assist the licensee in meeting the requirements of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12. The meeting was held in Spanish, both LPA and LPM speak Spanish. The following was discussed: 06/07/2023 \342\200\223 Type A - 102417(g)(4) - (g) The home shall be free from defects or conditions which might endanger a child. Safety precautions shall include but not limited to: (4) Poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, firearms and other items which could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where they are inaccessible to children. 06/07/2023 \342\200\223 Type B - 102425(a)(6) - (a) There shall be one crib or play yard for each infant who is unable to climb out of the crib or play yard. (6) Each infant's bedding shall be used for him/her only. Bedding that touches the infant\342\200\231s skin shall be cleaned at least weekly or before use by another infant. 06/07/2023 \342\200\223 Type B - 102425(b) - (b) Cribs or play yards shall be free from all loose articles and objects. 06/07/2023 \342\200\223 Type B - 102425(j) - The provider shall supervise infants while they are sleeping and adhere to the following requirements: 06/07/2023 \342\200\223 Type B - 102419(b) - (b) The licensee shall post the PUB 394 (8/02), Family Child Care Home Notification of Parents\342\200\231 Rights Poster in a prominent, publicly accessible area in the family child care home at all times children are in care. 06/07/2023 \342\200\223 Type B - 102421(b) - (b) The licensee shall maintain, in each child's record, a copy of the emergency information card as required Page 1 06/07/2023 \342\200\223 Type B - 102425(c) - An Individual Infant Sleeping Plan [LIC 9227 (3/20)] shall be completed for each infant up to 12 months of age the provider has in care and included in the infant's file at the facility. 06/07/2023 \342\200\223 Type B - 102425(j)(2)(D) - Documentation shall be maintained in the infant\342\200\231s file and be available to the Department for review. Documentation shall include the following: The licensee stated the following: Type A - 102417(g)(4) \342\200\223 The licensee stated that moving forward she will clean and put things away right away. Type B - 102425(a)(6) \342\200\223 The licensee stated that she cleared her napping room and now every child has their own play yard and older children will be using cots for the older children. Type B - 102425(b) \342\200\223 Licensee stated she will be making sure not to put items in cribs where children sleep and ensure other children do not put their personal items in cribs infants sleep in. Type B - 102425(j) \342\200\223 The licensee stated she was conducting the logs but stopped. Moving forward she has a sample log and will continue to do the checks. Type B - 102419(b) \342\200\223 The licensee has arranged them in a more publicly accessible area. Type B - 102421(b) \342\200\223 The licensee stated when she goes to the park with children she will carry emergency cards and LIC 700 with her on her phone and have completed forms in children\342\200\231s files. Type B - 102425(c) \342\200\223 The licensee received a Spanish form and consultation during the office meeting to complete the form properly. The licensee will confirm the documentation is completed via email to LPA. Type B - 102425(j)(2)(D) \342\200\223 The licensee stated files are in order.
