Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Thompson and Pham conducted an unannounced POC visit to follow up on the deficiency 102416.5(b)(3) Staffing Ratio and Capacity issued on 02/12/2025. LPAs entered the family child care home at 9:02 AM and met with licensee Maria Rabanal. LPAs observed licensee and one assistant caring for eight children. During the inspection it was determined the facility is operating within its licensed capacity and within compliance of staffing ratios. A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date indicates all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. During today's inspection, LPAs were present at the facility to verify that the facility has corrected the Type A deficiency for 102416.5(b)(3) Staffing Ratio and Capacity and remain within compliance with the Staffing Ratio and Capacity regulation. LPAs reviewed children files and found four out of eight children present are infants. LPAs observed licensee has corrected the violation and licensee understands that she is to always remain within compliance of Staffing Ratio and Capacity regulation. In the areas that were evaluated, no deficiencies were observed of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 at the time of the visit. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Maria Rabanal.
