What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Patricia Duron conducted an unannounced case management inspection for the purpose of delivering, and reviewing, the Decision and Order excluding Rajah Brown. LPA toured the facility and census was taken. There were no school age children present due to children attending elementary school at the time of visit. A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date indicates all facility residents, staff, or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. During today's inspection, LPA verified excluded person, Rajah Brown was not present at facility and is no longer able to be present at the facility.The facility representative , Nicole Fontaine stated Rajah Brown is not present at facility and has never been present at the facility. LPA notified the facility representative, Rajan Brown was served with a decision and order and is excluded from all care facilities licensed by the Department, certified by a licensed foster family agency, or any resource family home, and from holding the position of member of the board of directors, executive director, or officer of the licensee of any facility licensed by the Department for the remainder of his life from the effective date of March 09, 2026. A copy of the Decision and Order was provided to facility representative, Nicole Fontaine d uring today\342\200\231s visit. Page 1 of 2. Nicole Fontaine was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. In the areas that were evaluated, no deficiencies were observed of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 at the time of the visit. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Nicole Fontaine. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with the posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Page 2 of 2. End of Report.
