Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Desai, Ketki conducted an announced Case Management Licensee initiated inspection at the above facility for the purpose of decreasing the Preschool age capacity by removing one classroom, Room #B There were no children present at the time of inspection today. Currently facility is licensed for 30 Pre-school age children, 2 years to 5 years old in two assigned rooms # A&B Now facility is removing Room # B and adding to the Infant age program, decreasing the total preschool age capacity from 30 to 23 children. Preschool age program has their own yard. Facility shall now use Room # A, for Preschool age program Facility Owner Ms. Elezrie, Naomi gave a tour of the classroom The following was observed in the following in the preschool room \302\267 Age appropriate furniture and equipment\342\200\231s \302\267 Educational items /Arts and Crafts activities. \302\267 Room is well lighted with ventilation. \302\267 Drinking water is available through filtered water pitchers and personal water bottles \302\267 Facility offers AM/ PM snacks to the preschool age children and lunch is brought from home. Children nap on cots and linens are provided by the parents and washed weekly. (1) Preschool age children have individual cubbies for storage \302\267 Manual sign in and out \302\267 CDC Guidelines are being followed. \302\267 Classrooms has specific age appropriate bathrooms designated for Preschool age children in the classroom On today\342\200\231s inspection one preschool room was measured. Indoor activity space: 809'90 divided by 35 = 23'14 (23 children) ( Facility has requested 23 preschool age children) Total sinks: 2 X 15 = 30 children / Total toilets: 4 X 15= 60 (children) Facility has sufficient sinks and toilets to support the requested capacity of 23 preschool age children Outdoor space : Facility has a designated Preschool age yards which is accessed directly from the classroom door. Total outdoor activity area: 2764 sqft divided by 75 = 36 children ( Measured at the time of Pre-licensing) Playground is completely enclosed by a fence. Shade is provide by a pop-up, and pitcher and cups provide drinking water. Wooden chips are used as cushion under the climbing structure. There is a bike trail in the yard. Age appropriate toys and play structures were observed in both the yards After a tour of the center, no deficiency was observed. Facility Administrator is current on the required Pediatric CPR/First Training: Valid up to May 1st 2023 LPA provided Guardian Information and website info: https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/cdss-programs/community-care-licensing/caregiver-background-check/guardian Facility has access to the Guardian system. Fire clearance has been granted by Orange County Fire Authority approving the total capacity of 37 children , 23 Preschool age children and 14 Infants. Based on today\342\200\231s room measurements/ Outdoor space with sinks and toilets: Facility has sufficient space to accommodate 23 Preschool age children in one Preschool room A Operating hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 3:30 PM. Total Capacity : 37 children A License shall be issued upon management approval. Exit interview held with the Director.
