What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Desai, Ketki conducted an announced Case Management Licensee initiated inspection at the above facility for the purpose of changing classrooms. Currently facility is licensed for 92 preschool age children, 36 months to 6 years old in three designated rooms (Children's House 1, Children's House 2 and Children's House 3 under the Preschool License # 304371142 and facility also has an Infant License with Toddler option component (License # 304371143) 18 Infants ( 6 weeks to 18 months ) in two designated rooms: Infant 1 and Infant 2 room, while 36 Toddlers 18 months – 36 months) in three designated rooms Toddler 1/ Toddler 2 and Toddler 3 room. Facility is now requesting to change the current preschool room (Children's House 1) into Toddler room and renaming as Toddler 3 room. While Preschool Children's House 1 shall move to an empty room and would be called as Children House 1. There is no change in capacity requested by the facility. Facility Director Ms. Le Sieur, Diana gave a tour of the facility including new Toddler option classroom, Preschool room and the outdoor yards for all the three components. Facility shall now move the current Children's House 1 classroom into an the new unoccupied room and shall be called as Children's House 1 room. Facility has a open lobby area upon entrance, with Director's office space and designated toilets. This space is utilized by the facility for extra indoor activities or during late pick up's. All the 3 Preschool classrooms (Children's House 1/ Children's House 2 and Children's House 3) were remeasured on today’s inspection and observations were as follows. Preschool Yard: Measurements remains current as per the last Pre-licensing inspection 8611 square feet divided by 75= 114 children. Current capacity shall change from 92 preschool children to 90 preschool age children. Fire clearance from Orange Fire Prevention Bureau has been received and approved for requested capacity. After a tour of the center, no deficiency was observed. Facility Administrator is current on the required Pediatric CPR/First Training: Valid up to 6/24/23 The facility representative was informed that the CRIMINAL RECORD STATEMENT (LIC 508) has been updated, and the facility must now use the new form with revised date 7/15. The facility representative was also informed that the LIC 508 must be submitted with all Criminal Background Clearance Transfer Request (LIC9182). The facility representative was informed that Licensing Quarterly Updates are available at www.ccld.ca.gov LPA provided Guardian Information and website info: https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/cdss-programs/community-care-licensing/caregiver-background-check/guardian Facility has access to the Guardian system. Based on today’s Indoor and Outdoor measurements, sink & toilet availability, center has sufficient activity space to support the capacity of 90 Preschool age children (36 months to 6 years ) in three designated rooms : Children's House 1/ Children's House 2 and Children's House 3) Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 PM. Exit interview conducted. Notice of Site Visit was posted. Director was informed that the Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to post it will result in civil penalties of $100. Appeal rights presented to the Director.
