What the inspector wrote

On 9/03/2025 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Olivia Meza conducted a case management inspection. The licensee is requesting to re inspect the Pebble Playground. LPA met the the Director Fatima Asghar and was led on a tour of the facility. There were 110 preschool children in care and 11 staff present. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. The facility is currently licensed to serve 168 Children ages 2- 6 years of age. Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm in rooms A1, A2, A5, A6, A7, A8, and B5. Outdoor areas listed on the facility sketch are the garden playground, pebble playground, and preschool playground. Pebble playground was inspected and measured. The playground is enclosed by a fence at least four (4) feet in height. There is also a sand box area with swings and a paved area for bikes. There is a shaded area available for children. The total square footage of the outdoor playground areas the garden playground, pebble playground and preschool playground is sufficient enough to accommodate the licensed capacity. Fire clearance has been granted for 168 preschool children on January 14, 2025. Based on today's measurement of outdoor area, the facility meets the requirements for use of the outdoor area. The facility will be granted the use of the outdoor play area of the pebble playground. LPA was notified by the director, Fatima Asghar that the elementary school has access to the pebble outdoor play area. LPA discussed that a waiver needs to be submitted to the department for playground area if being shared with another program. Director stated that the preschool and elementary school program will not be commingling. Per title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were cited. Exit interview conducted. Report was reviewed and discussed with Director Fatima Asghar. Notice of Site Visit and shall be posted for 30 days from today's date.
