Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Desai, Ketki conducted an unannounced Case Management Licensee initiated inspection at the above facility for the purpose of adding new Toddler option to the current Preschool License. Currently facility is licensed for 56 preschool age children, 2-6 years old in Room # 1,2 and 3 only. Facility is now requesting to add the Toddler option with a capacity of 12 (18 months – 36 months) in the new Toddler room and decreasing the Preschool capacity to 44 children ( 36 months to 6 years old) in Room # 1, 2 and 3, along with the addition of new yard space for the Preschool children only. Facility Director Ms.Perla Zavala-Benitez gave a tour of the facility including new Toddler classroom, Preschool rooms and new play yard space to be added Per the new Application received facility shall serve Preschool age children from 3-6 years old and Toddlers (18 -36 months) Operating hours for this program will be Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (full day session) and Half day session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM The following was observed in new Toddler room · Age appropriate furniture and equipment’s · Educations items (Learning and tactile activity items) · Arts and Crafts activities. · Room is well lighted with ventilation. · Drinking water is available through filtered water pitchers and personal water bottles · AM/PM snack is offered, and Lunch is brought from home, and these containers are labelled by the parents
