What the inspector wrote

On 03/28/25, at 11:30am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anna Chan conducted a Legal/Non-Compliance inspection. LPA met with Director Lilamani Kalugampitiya. Upon arrival the director was informed of the reason for the visit. Census was taken; 19 preschool children (including 7 toddlers) were being supervised by 4 teachers. Teacher Ana Bojovic continued with the visit as director needed to step away from the facility. An on-site Facility Personnel Report Summary review showed that all facility staff or other individuals who require background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. Furniture, Fixtures, Equipment: LPA observed and inspected the preschool outdoor space and found to be in full compliance. Buildings and Grounds: LPA observed the outdoor equipment is free from hazards to children in care. Administration of Child Care Licensing and Immunization and Teacher Qualification & Teacher Aide Qualifications and Duties: 2 Staff files were reviewed, immunization and TB test are complete. Mandated reporter training is current. Staff files show the teacher/aide is qualified to perform a specific job function. Staff file is found to be in compliance. Teacher-Child Ratio: Based on observation, the facility was in ratio during the case management visit. Page 1 of 2 Receipts of Licensing Reports LIC 9224: The facility has kept the LIC9224 for all licensing reports that require a receipt. The acknowledgement receipts were reviewed in the 3 children’s files during the visit; the facility is in compliance. In the areas that were evaluated, no deficiencies were observed of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 at the time of the visit. Exit interview was conducted and the report was reviewed with the Teacher Ana Bojovic. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Page 2 of 2
