What the inspector wrote

LPA A Bootorabi conducted a case management visit on 8/17/2023. LPA toured the facility and census was 6 infants to 2 teachers. LPA observed toddler option children (2) with infant children in the play yard. 1 toddler option child was scent to the infant room and another stayed with director. LPA later observed toddler option child in preschool classroom. Director was given a consultation regarding infant and toddler option children commingling. LPA observed one child strapped in a 4 seater stroller and staff were consulted on the purpose of strollers. LPA also consulted staff regarding the purpose baby floor seat with table is only for eating. 2 infant files were reviewed during visit. 1 of 2 files were incomplete. A consultation was provided. The facility did not meet the California Code of Regulations, Title 22 Division 12, and regulations not met were observed, discussed, and cited at the time of the visit.     101161(a) Limitations on Capacity and Ambulatory Status: (a) A licensee shall not operate a child care center beyond the conditions and limitations specified on the license, including the capacity limitation. Based on LPA's observation and director interview , the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by means of children fron toddler option being placed in the infant room which poses an immediate health and safety risk to children in care.
