What the inspector wrote

On 10/6/2025, at 9:00 am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Vivian Trinh, and (LPA) Jesscia Carreiro, conducted an unannounced Case Management for the purpose of inspecting the facility’s physical plant due to the facility applying to 8/24/2025 requesting to inspect the school-age from T/K through 9 th grade, in room #4 and #5. Upon arrival, LPAs met with Director Seockran Jun. The overall census observed was 3 preschool staff members, including the Director, and 13 preschool children. Facility hours are 8:00 AM TO 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date 10/6/2025. The Director Seockran Jun understands that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption or transfer their existing clearance or exemption prior to the initial presence in a licensed childcare facility. Violation of this requirement will result in a citation of a deficiency and civil penalties of one hundred dollars ($100) per violation per day for a maximum of five (5) days. Subsequent violations within a twelve (12) month period will result in a civil penalty of one hundred dollars ($100) per violation per day for a maximum of thirty (30) days in accordance with Section 1596.871 of the Health and Safety Code. The LPA inspected the indoor areas. Rooms #4 and #5 have a space with a capacity of nine (9) for TK children through 9th grade and are accessible to children. The facility was equipped with working carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, working telephone service, and at least one fire extinguisher that meets statutory and State Fire Marshall standards. The director stated that there are no firearms and/or other dangerous weapons in the facility; none were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and other items that could pose a danger if readily available were inaccessible to children in care . Continued Page 2. Page 2. No poisons or other items that could pose a danger to children were observed during the inspection. The facility provides age-appropriate toys, play equipment, and materials for the children served. All required licensing documents were posted at the front entrance. Children will be signed in and out in the care app tool. Children who are late will be manually signed in at the front of each school. There is drinking water available to children indoors in sports bottles with children’s names or water pitchers with plastic cups. There are no bodies of water present at the facility. Director Seockran Jun was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing. LPAs measured the indoor space activity of room #4 and room #5, which is sufficient to accommodate the current capacity of nine (9) capacity. An updated license will be approved after final review by the management. Exit interview conducted, and the report was reviewed with the Director Seockran Jun. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal Rights were discussed. Director Seockran Jun was provided a copy of their appeal rights (LIC 9058) and their signature on this form acknowledges receipt of these rights. End of the Report.
