What the inspector wrote

On 01/09/26, A case management inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anna Chan who met with Head of School Toni Espino and was informed of the purpose of visit. Upon arrival there were 34 preschool and 5 staff doing indoor activities. A self-reported incident by the facility was received at the regional office on 01/05/26, 01/07/26, 01/08/26 and 01/09/26 which stated that children are infected with Hand Foot and Mouth disease. LPA interviewed 5 staff, gathered documents such as parent notification of outbreak and a copy of public health notification 5 out of 5 Staff stated they clean the classroom, tables, chairs, and toys by using soapy water and sanitizing bleach solution throughout the day. 5 out of 5 Staff stated they wash their hands and children’s hands before and after meals. Head of School Toni Espino stated they lessened the toys in the classroom to avoid the spread. Ms Espino stated they notified the parents through tadpole on 1/2/26 after the 1st confirmed case, and Public Health was notified on 1/6/26 about the Hand Foot Mouth and facility kept reporting new cases as it occurs. No deficiencies cited during this visit. Exit interview was conducted with Head of School Toni Espino. The Notice of Site Visit was posted and must be posted for 30 consecutive days.
