What the inspector wrote

On 12/15/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Deschampe conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection in response to the Type B violation issued on 10/13/2025: California Code of Regulations (CCR) Section 101226(e)(2) All prescription and nonprescription medications shall be maintained with child's name and shall be dated. LPA was met by the assistant director, Samantha Gonzalez at 8:58 AM who allowed LPA entry to the facility. LPA met licensee, Giuliana DeFrenza and explained the purpose of the visit. Licensee guided LPA on a tour of the facility with the following census: 14 children with 5 staff. During the inspection it was determined the facility is operating within compliance of staffing ratios. A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date, 12/15/2025 indicates all facility staff, or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. The deficiency that was cited on LIC809-D on 10/13/2025 has been cleared through LPA observation, interview and record review. On 10/22/2025, LPA received an email from the facility with pictures confirming maintenance of prescription which meets regulation. On 12/15/2025, LPA observed maintenance of prescription which meets regulation. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Giuliana DeFrenza. The notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. The licensee was provided a copy of the appeal rights (LIC 9058 ) and their signature on this form acknowledges receipt of these rights. All appeals must be in writing and received by the Regional Office within 15 business days. End of Report
