On 9/19/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Olivia Meza conducted an Annual Inspection. Upon Arrival LPA Meza met with the Assistant Director Allen Mendrin and was led on a tour of the facility inside and outside areas. There were seventeen children and four Staff . Facility hours are 7a.m.- 5:30p.m., Monday through Friday. During the inspection of the indoor activity space, items which could pose a danger to children (detergents, cleaning compounds, and medications) were observed to be stored out of the reach of children. Poisons/Hazardous Items are not kept on the premises/locked cabinet inaccessible to children. Floors, equipment, and furniture were clean and observed to be in good repair and free of sharp edges. The children's restrooms are clean and sanitary. The facility has conducted an emergency drill within the past six months and keeps documentation of drills, the last disaster drill was conducted on 05/28/2025. The facility has a at least one working carbon monoxide detector. Facility meets all posting requirements. The outdoor activity space was inspected for compliance. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained and free of hazards. The cushioning material under high climbing play equipment and is sufficient to absorb falls. The outdoor equipment and toys are in good repair and free of sharp edges. There are no bodies of water present at the facility. Drinking water in the outdoor activity space is provided by refillable water bottles and water fountains. four Staff files were reviewed and in compliance. At least one staff member present possesses current EMSA approved Pediatric CPR/First Aid certifications, which expires 8/29/27. continue to page two page two A total of five Children's records were reviewed and in compliance . Sign in/out procedure was reviewed for compliance. Parent sign the child in and out using electronic application called Eleyo and Care Connect using a personal parent pin code. The person who signs the child in and out uses their full legal signature and records the time of the day. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. LPA also informed Director of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. continue to page three page three In the areas that were evaluated, no deficiencies were observed of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 at the time of the visit.
