What the inspector wrote

On 7/11/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Anna Chan conducted a Plan of Correction (POC) inspection in response to a Type A violation issued on 6/21/24, 101161(a) Limitations on Capacity and Ambulatory Status. LPA went on a walk-through, current census observed was 10 preschool children and 1 teacher. Office Administrator Binbin Zhao arrived around 9:45 am. During the inspection it was determined the facility is operating within its licensed capacity and within compliance of staffing ratios. The area cited was re-checked and action plan document was reviewed and found to be corrected. Deficiency cleared. A clearance letter was provided to the director. No further action needed at this time. POC letter was given, and correction has been received at this time. Office administrator Zhao was reminded that the facility shall notify the Department when there is a change of director and that they have 10 days. And to find a new director or a fully qualified teacher can act as director while facility is finding a permanent director within 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Office Administrator Binbin Zhao. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Appeal Rights were explained and provided to facility representative.
