An Informal Meeting was conducted on this day in the Orange Regional Office. Present during the meeting were Tina Nguyen, Licensing Program Manager (LPM), Aiddee Nunez, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA), Darcy Spicer, District Manager and Lauren Stuart, Principal. The purpose of this informal meeting is to discuss the following: 101229 (a)(1) Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision \302\267 (03/13/2025) 101229(a)(1) Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision. Child was found in the school\342\200\231s parking lot and was estimated to be alone for about 5 minutes. The District Manager believes the child left the playground through the gate door that has a push handle. 101212(d)(1)(C) Reporting Requirements \302\267 (03/13/25) Based on interview with the district manager and record review it was confirmed that the facility did not submit the Unusual Incident Report to licensing office regarding child being found in the school\342\200\231s parking lot alone for about 5 minutes. During the informal conference, the District Manager and Principal were given the opportunity to discuss violations and actions taken to address the deficiencies as follows: 101229 (a)(1) Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision \302\267 Staff supervision guidelines are in the new orientation staff packet. They added a 100% supervision section to the staff handbook as well. The facility added a chain link fence with a door that has a high door knob between the playground and the exit door that leads to the parking lot. The district manager also conducts frequent visits to the facility to supervise the staff members\342\200\231 supervision. 101212(d)(1)(C) Reporting Requirements \302\267 The district manager reminded their staff members if any unusual incidents do occur, staff members should contact the district manager even if the district manager is not present or is off. She also reminded the staff members all unusual incidents should be reported to licensing. The following was discussed and provided with the District Manager & the Director: \302\267 The licensee was advised of the responsibility to know & understand Title 22 Regulations. \302\267 The facility must always remain in compliance with Title 22 regulations. \302\267 The licensee was advised to check the Childcare Licensing web site at www.ccld.ca.gov for quarterly updates, training, forms, and regulations. \302\267 Childcare Licensing E-Learning Modules. \302\267 TSP and Supervision at a Glance. Exit interview was conducted with Darcy Spicer, District Manager and Lauren Stuart, Principal, who agrees with the above. A copy of the report was read, explained, and provided to facility representatives. A signature on this form confirms receipt of the report.
