Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Romy Castanon conducted a Case Management visit to the facility to remeasure the facility\342\200\231s infant playground. LPA met with Director Angela Briones and toured the facility and census was taken. There were 14 children and 8 staff present during today's visit. A review of criminal record clearances indicates that all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. Applicant submitted waiver proposal to share infant playground on a staggered schedule due to lack of space. During pre licensing visit on 08/26/2024, LPA measured 749.21 square feet for infant yard that can only accommodate 10 infants at one time. Applicant moved infant gate further back to create enough space to fit at least 12 infants at one time which will ease the amount of playground rotations. Based on today's new measurements, LPA remeasured infant playground that now totals 912.84 square feet which will accommodate 12 infants. New preschool playground measures 4,111.37 square feet that is sufficient to accommodate 54 preschool children (previous measurement was for 57 children). Facility's contractor was present during the measurement and is aware of gate placement to affix the gate in it's new position. Director submitted updated waiver request and daily schedules. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Director Angela Briones. A notice of site visit was given to Director and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. End of Report
