What the inspector wrote

At 2:00 P.M. On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst, LPA, Amanda Blesi met with the director Denise Schleth for a case management inspection to discuss infection control practices for COVID-19 . The facility has submitted several Unusual Incident Report's stating they have had more than three cases of COVID -19 within a 14 day period throughout the preschool, infant and school age classrooms. During today’s inspection LPA toured the facility for a health and safety evaluation. Director states the facility has been following current guidelines set forth from the California Department of Health for COVID-19. Each morning, staff conduct an illness check which includes taking the child's temperature. If a child is experiencing symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, or runny nose the child will not be allowed into the center. Staff follow OSHA guidelines and disinfect/sanitize floors and surfaces daily. Blankets and sheets are laundered more frequently than recommended and toys are sanitized daily. Staff and children are encouraged to wear a face covering while indoors and parents do not enter the facility at pick up and drop off.
