Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On Friday, February 11th, 2022, at 9:18am, LPA Blake Morillas conducted an unannounced visit and met with Administrator Tony Cirone, and Director Ashley Camp, to conclude the complaint investigation of the above allegation. At 9:23am, 22 preschool age children and 5 staff were observed in multiple classrooms. It was alleged that unqualified staff are providing care and supervision. Through the course of the investigation it was discovered that a teacher was hired with the understanding that they would be enrolled and attending classes in order to fulfill the requirements of being a fully qualified teacher. However they were unable to be enrolled at the time of their hire, leading to several months where they were working but were unqualified. When this was discovered the facility took immediate steps to become compliant. Through interviews conducted and evidence obtained, the preponderance of evidence was met and the above allegation was found to be SUBSTANTIATED. As a result of the findings and the immediate action the facility took to correct it, A Technical Violation note (LIC9102TV) was issued to the facility. At 11:57am, LPA reviewed the report with the Director and LPA provided a Notice of Site which must be posted for 30 days.
