What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Jeremey McClain and Amanda Sutter met with Director Rebecka Williams for the purpose of a case management inspection. Licensee has requested an increase of capacity from 96 to 116 preschoolers, with a toddler option for 20 toddlers. During the inspection, LPA observed care and supervision of 28 children by five teachers in separate rooms. INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE Indoor activity space was previously measured to be 5,461.73 square feet on 05/04/2015. No changes have been made to the indoor space, other than the usage of a room that will now be dedicated for the preschool license. LPAs measured the room to be 1,075.29 square feet. The total square footage for all indoor activity space is 6,537.02 square feet, which will accommodate licensee\342\200\231s request for 96 preschoolers and 20 toddlers. LPAs observed 14 sinks and nine toilets which meet the requirements for the requested capacity. Adequate nap equipment and storage space was observed. OUTDOOR SPACE Outdoor activity space was previously measured to be 9,695 square feet on 05/04/2015. An additional space will be added that LPAs measured to be 1264 square feet. The total outdoor activity is now 10,959 square feet, which will accommodate licensee\342\200\231s request for a total capacity of 116 children. Director understands that toddlers must use separate outdoor activity space. Director will submit a request for a waiver to allow toddler and preschoolers to share the same outdoor play space at separate times. Director will submit a schedule showing the outside play schedule for toddlers and infants. Fire Clearance was received granted on 02/22/2022. Report Continued on the following page... Licensee\342\200\231s request for a capacity of 116 children, including a toddler option for 20 children (96 preschoolers and 20 toddlers) is approved. This report was reviewed with the director, and an exit interview was conducted. No deficiencies were observed during today\342\200\231s inspection. LPA provided a Notice of Site Visit that must remain posted for 30 days.
