Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On July 14th, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeremey McClain met with Licensing Representative Kristie Brantley for the purpose of delivering findings for a complaint investigation. Upon arrival, LPA observed care and supervision of 26 children by five staff members. LPA investigated the allegation that a lack of supervision resulted in inappropriate interaction between children in care. During the investigation, LPA conducted interviews with staff and children. LPA observed staff’s care and supervision of children in care, as well as reviewed documentation of staff schedules and a census of children. LPA determined that there was not enough evidence to corroborate the allegation. Evidence was not conclusive that the alleged incident between two children in care happened. Evidence also did not suggest that if the incident occurred, it was due to a lack of supervision from staff. The preponderance of evidence standard has not been met; therefore, the allegation is determined to be unsubstantiated. No Title 22 deficiencies were cited as a result of the investigation. LPA reviewed this report with Licensing Representative Kristie Brantley, and provided a Notice of Site Visit that must be posted for 30 days.
