What the inspector wrote

At 8:05am on 7/11/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Matthew Gallo arrived at the facility for the purpose of closing a complaint investigation. Upon arrival, LPA observed a total census of 13 preschool children supervised by 2 staff. At the time of LPA's arrival, the two staff present were the only staff on site at the facility. Through record review and interview, LPA determined that neither staff member met the qualifications to be a teacher and were therefore both aides. At approximately 8:20am, Director Paolo Sarmiento arrived at the facility. During the period from LPAs arrival at 8:05am to the Director's arrival at approximately 8:20am, there were no qualified teachers present to supervise the two aides.
