(g) The home shall be free from defects or conditions which might endanger a child. Safety precautions shall include but not be limited to:(3) Where children less than five years old are in care, stairs shall be fenced or barricaded. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by not having stairs barricaded while caring for children under age 5, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on record review and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by LPAs asked licensee to review safe sleep logs for infants, and licensee stated she does not have documentation. Licensee stated they have been enrolled in the program since September and October of 2024.
