TEACHER AIDE QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES
101216.2(e) An aide shall work only under the direct supervision of a teacher.This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on interview and record review, LPA determined that on 5/22/2025, an aide was supervising infants alone at the facility from at least 6:52am to 7:00am, which posed an immediate health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.

(1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation.This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on review of video record and interviews, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above due to staff not being present in the toddler room to supervise a child who was awake and walking around. This posed an immediate health, safety, or personal rights violation to persons in care.
