What the inspector wrote

An unannounced case management inspection was conducted 10/28/25 at 12:38pm by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Erica Laird. LPA met with licensee Mary Bruce in response to an Unusual Incident Report received by the Department on 8/14/25 where C1 alleged to have been bitten on their buttocks by an infant in care (C2). The licensee and assistant were interviewed on 8/21/25 at 1:10pm and 1:35 pm and stated that C1 did not mention being bitten by anyone on 8/12/25. The assistant said they helped C1 in the bathroom that day and did not see any bite or mark on C1. C5 and C6 were interviewed 8/21/25 and stated that they have not been bitten or poked on their buttocks while in care at Mary Bruce's child care home. Based on the investigation, it could not be determined that any deficiencies occurred. There were no deficiencies cited during today\342\200\231s inspection. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee. Appeal Rights were provided. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. this report was amended to remove confidential information.
