Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

C1 was selected due to being in the class that was mentioned in the statement provided that children were not provided drinking water outside. Interview with C1 revealed they always drink out of their water bottle when on the playground, and can go to the outside water fountain to fill up their water bottle when the bottle runs dry. Additionally, LPA requested C1 show them where the water fountain was outside, and C1 went directly over to the fountain, and was able to drink easily. Thus, due to interviews conducted, and observation, the allegation was Unsubstantiated. A finding of Unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. An exit interview was conducted where a copy of this report was reviewed along with copies of the LIC9099C, LIC811 (confidential names list), and Appeal Rights were provided. A Notice of Site Visit was also provided and must be posted for 30 days. C2 had been in their pull-up approximately an hour to an hour and a half before C2's parent picked up C2. The requirement for C2 to have a healthful environment was not met; therefore the allegation was Substantiated. A finding that the complaint is Substantiated means that the allegation is valid because the preponderance of the evidence standard has been met. An exit interview was conducted where a copy of this report was reviewed along with copies of the LIC9099C, LIC9099D, LIC811 (confidential names list), and Appeal Rights were provided. A Notice of Site Visit was also provided and must be posted for 30 days.
