What the inspector wrote

On the above date, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Timeka Reed arrived to the facility for the purposes of conducting a case management. The facility has re-opened after being closed due to closure as a result of Covid-19. LPA conducted a tour of the facility inside and out to ensure that the facility is following guidelines as it relates to Covid 19 safety precautions. LPA observed that all staff were wearing mask. All children were napping, eating or under the age of two years therefore did not have on mask during the tour. LPA observed staff using gloves for cleaning and sanitation. Facility is equipped with hand sanitizer as well as supplies for hand washing. Facility has implemented a plan to ensure that staff is trained on all required areas which include sanitation, social distancing and isolation. Facility has plan to frequently clean and sanitize the facility including cleaning toys, and cleaning bathrooms. Facility is using products that are approved by the Environmental Protection Agency. Facility is practicing all safety precautions as it relates to hygiene including laundering bedding daily. Facility has a station outside where a temperature is taken as well as a health screening for children and staff. Arrival times are staggered. Classrooms have signs to encourage social distancing. Children are served individual meals. Staff immediately clean and sanitize. Based on the tour and observation facility is following Covid safety guidelines as prescribed for child care settings. A copy of this report was provided to facility representative.
