What the inspector wrote

On 10/29/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jesse Gardner conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) visit to the facility. LPA met with Licensee Bertha Estrada and their Assistant Nesel Estrada and noted 9 children inside the facility. During the POC visit, LPA toured the facility to verify the corrections and the following was noted. 1. On 10/09/2025, LPA inspected the pool area and noted the fencing to have a gap between 2-4" . On that date, LPA advised the Licensee the gap could not exceed 2". The POC was due 10/23/2025. On today's date, LPA inspected the gap of the bottom of the fence and found that it measured 2", and determined that it is now in compliance with Title 22. Deficiency cleared. 2. On 10/09/2025, LPA inspected the pool area and found there was not an alarm in the pool. The POC was due 10/23/2025. On today's date, LPA found a functioning alarm that is compliant with ASTM standard F2208, and determined it is now in compliance with Title 22. Deficiency cleared. 3. On 10/09/2025, LPA inspected the pool area and found the Licensee did not have a US Coast Guard approved life ring measuring 17" in diameter. The POC was due 10/23/2025. On today's date, LPA found a life ring that meets the standards of Title 22 and determined it is now in compliance. Deficiency cleared. 4. On 10/09/2025, LPA noted the Licensee did not have a 12' stationary rescue pole. On that date, LPA advised the Licensee needed to have one for their pool. On today's date, LPA found a stationary pole and upon inspection, found that it measured 12', and determined that it is in compliance. Deficiency cleared. 5. On 10/09/2025, LPA noted the Licensee was not conducting daily pool inspections on a pool log. On today's date, LPA noted the log to be current as of today. Deficiency cleared. An exit interview was conducted with Licensee Bertha Estrada where a copy of this report was reviewed with and provided along with a copy of the Appeal Rights. A Notice of Site Visit was also provided and must be posted for 30 days.
