What the inspector wrote

On August 2, 2022 at 9:46 AM, Licensing Program Analyst\342\200\231s (LPA\342\200\231s) Anastasia Flores and Ana Noble arrived at the facility to conduct an inspection for an increase in capacity from 24 infant to a requested capacity of 56 infants. At 9:51 AM, LPA\342\200\231s were greeted and granted access to the facility by Director, Jesenia Garcia Macias and Assistant Director, Shandra Gonzalez. At 10:36 AM, LPA's measured the newly added infant program areas. LPA's also inspected and measured the newly added outside playground area. Director Jesenia Garcia Macias stated that she would also mark the area that would be an entry way utilized by parents/guardians. Measurements were taken and the following was determined: Indoor Activity Areas \342\200\223 infant, activity and older infant areas were measured (Room 30 & 31). This area gives sufficient space/room for an additional 24 infants. LPAs have determined that there is sufficient space to accommodate a total of requested infants, total of 56 infants in all areas (Room P6, 30 & 31) in addition to the currently used classroom. Outdoor Activity Area \342\200\223 Infant Playground LPAs have determined that there is sufficient space to accommodate a total of 8 infants at one time (Infant Playground #2). The facility will put in a waiver to utilize the outdoor activity area at different times of the day. Diaper changing tables- Two total diaper changing tables and two additional potty chair will be added. There is a total of 4 sinks located by the changing tables. Limiting factor for infant Program capacity is indoor space. The Fire Clearance was granted on 1/21/2022. The new infant capacity is limited to 56 infants. An exit interview was conducted, appeal rights were discussed and a copy of this report was provided to Director Jesenia Garcia Macias. A notice of site visit was also provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
